President’s Postal Task Force Report Kept Under Wraps
Posted on September 6, 2018 by mailomg in memo 299, Uncategorized // 0 Comments
The President’s Task Force on the Postal Service has completed its work and submitted its findings to the White House. But as of September 6, 2018, the report has not been released to the public.
Internet pundits wonder why it is still under wraps.
One theory is that the recommendations include a call for privatization and the White House does not want this known prior to the mid-term elections in November.
Another theory is that the task force found the Amazon deal to be a winner for the USPS, contradicting President Trump’s assertions it is not.
One writer marvels at the fact the task force report has not been leaked yet, given all of the leaks out of Washington these last few years.
And another site claims it knows that the report will be released by the end of the year.
The truth is: the Task Force Report is the best kept secret in Washington, DC.
