Houston Update: Tropical Storm Imelda Post Office Closures, Mail Services Update

Texas – Southeastern
Due to serious flooding caused by Tropical Depression Imelda, customers are advised of the following impacts to our operations:
- Houston — There is an embargo on Priority Mail Express and live animals in and out of Houston District, which includes the following 3-digit ZIP Codes: 770-778.
- North Houston P&DC, 4600 Aldine Bender Rd., 77315-9997 — Closed due to a safety issue. Drop shipments will not be accepted until further notice.
- Beaumont P&DC, 5815 Walden Rd., 77707 — Plant is closed and not accepting any drop shipments.
- Conroe Post Office, 809 W. Dallas St., 77301 — Closed. There will be no mail delivery or retail operations. Drop shipments are not being accepted. There is an embargo for Priority Mail Express and all live animals for this office.
- All Post Offices within the following 3-digit ZIP Codes are closed: 775, 776 and 777. All operations are suspended. There will be no mail delivery or retail operations. Drop shipments are not being accepted. There is an embargo for Priority Mail Express and all live animals for these ZIP Codes.
