Fairfield University, serving approximately 4,000 students on-campus and processing over 16,000 inbound packages monthly, partnered with Pitney Bowes to achieve faster package delivery times, streamline operations, and significantly improve the student experience.
The Mail Center faced significant challenges managing inbound packages, causing bottlenecks, inefficiency, and campus disruptions, resulting in:
- Package pileups and long package pick-ups lines
- Package delivery delays due to limited hours
- Numerous package inquiries took staff away from other tasks
