Social Security To Continue Mailing Paper Checks

From Daily Mail: Two weeks ago it was announced Social Security checks will soon no longer be delivered by mail and recipients must act fast to register for electronic payments. Now, Social Security says it will continue mailing paper checks — in a major U-turn from a previously announced plan. The agency had planned to halt checks after September 30 to cut costs and reduce fraud, shifting entirely to electronic payments.
