GSA Mail Center Security Guide Fifth Edition
The Mail Center Security Guide, 5th Edition serves as a comprehensive resource for departments, agencies, and mail center managers in the administration of mail management programs. This guide is the result of a successful collaboration between the Interagency Security Committee (ISC), the GSA, and the community of federal mail professionals.
Title 41 CFR 102-192 mandates that the GSA Administrator provides guidance and assistance to Federal agencies for processing mail. This document not only consolidates the best practices from the Mail Security Guide, 4th Edition, and the ISC Best Practices for Mail Screening and Handling Processes: A Guide for the Public and Private Sectors, 2012 Edition, but also offers new and updated guidance to address the evolving landscape of mail handling.
