Art Show Features Mail As Art

Artists submitted over 400 works of mail art in a show entitled “Pushing the Envelope: Art in the time of pandemic” at Pulp in Holyoke, MA.

Pulp received mail art from artists in 34 states, Canada, the UK, and South America. The resulting gallery features all kinds of mediums, styles, and techniques. It is available to be viewed at Pulp, 80 Race St., Holyoke, MA.

One mail piece has the IMB “pulp” at the end of the barcode. Another mail piece is made from a pair of denim jeans with the address stitched in. Another is a paper mache envelope.
