US Companies With EU customers Must Prepare for GDPR Compliance

After years of negotiations, the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) will come into effect on May 25, 2018.

GDPR is likely to be recognized as a watershed moment for data security, as it applies to all businesses that hold the data of EU citizens, regardless of whether they are a member of the EU community or have a physical presence in the region.
