Mike Lathrop Honored By Chicago MSMA, PCC

Chicago, Il — Since 1975 Mike Lathrop has been an active part of the mail industry. His impact goes beyond managing mail operations: for years he has been a leading educator, helping develop mail professionals in Chicago and around the nation.
And for his service, the Chicago Chapter of the Mail Systems Management Association honored him with their Lifetime Achievement Award at its November meeting.
The MSMA award comes on the heels of the Chicago PCC presenting him with a Recognition Award earlier in the Fall. Lathrop has served in leadership positions in both organizations.
Lathrop is the Past President of the MSMA Chicago Chapter and served as Regional Director on the Mail Systems Management Association National Board of Directors. His industry experience includes various department head level roles with government, non-profit educational, private and public corporation organizations.
Currently he is Mail Services Manager at the Moody Bible Institute where he has served for many years. His work at Moody was recognized in 2008 as the “Mail Center of the Year.” In 2004, he was named the MSMA Manager of the Year.
