Mail Growth Incentives 2025 Deadline
From the United States Postal Service:
To participate in the 2025 Mail Growth Incentives, customers must initiate registration no later than May 30th, 2025, and both the mail owner and the Postal Service must agree to the baseline on or before June 30th, 2025.
To ensure that the registration process is completed by the deadline, and mail owners can participate and earn postage credits based on their growth over registered postal FY2024 baselines, we are recommending mail owners allocate up to 30 days to attain baseline concurrence.
As a reminder –
• Registration for the First-Class Mail and Marketing Mail Growth Incentives is to be done in the Mailing Promotions Portal, accessed through the BusinessCustomer Gateway.Once registration is initiated, a Service Request (SR) is opened and all communications between registrant and USPS need to occur within the Service Request. This streamlines communication, allowing easy access across the organization in a centralized location.
• Registrants should promptly review the baseline volume and associated CRIDs shown within the registration Service Request –accessible in the Related Tab.
• If the volume and CRID information matches the mail owner records, the registrant should click on the “I agree” button to complete the registration process.
• If the information does not match, or the mail owner would like to discuss further, they should click the “I Disagree” button in the SR.
• Discussions can take time to investigate and review data to reach consensus among all parties.
Any registration sin discussion and not finalized by June 30thwill be ineligible to participate, even if baseline discussions were initiated prior to May 30th but not agreed to by both the Postal Service and the registrant by June 30th.
The USPS Mailing Services team develops strategic incentives, offering various benefits and advantages to businesses and individuals who utilize USPS mailing services. These incentives are designed to enhance the value and growth of First-Class Mail and Marketing Mail.
Mail Growth Incentives
The First-Class Mail and Marketing Mail Growth Incentives are being offered to mail owners to incent them to grow volume in Calendar Year 2024 (CY 2024). The Postal Service will be issuing postage credits to mail owners who grow qualifying First-Class Mail or Marketing Mail volumes in CY 2024 compared to corresponding volume in Fiscal Year 2023 (FY 2023) and meet all other requirements for these incentives.
Marriage Mail Incentive
Marriage Mail is a form of marketing mail in which marketing service companies combine advertisements from multiple businesses into a single mailpiece to reduce the cost of the mailing for individual customers. As part of the July 9, 2023 price change implementation, the US Postal Service will provide marriage mailers an incentive price on Saturation USPS Marketing Mail letters and flats including EDDM.
Catalog Incentive
Catalogs offer a unique marketing perspective to products and services and provide important value to the mailbox. As part of the July 14, 2024 price change, USPS is implementing a new Catalog definition in the Domestic Mail Manual. Simultaneously, the Postal Service is offering a Catalog Incentive Price discount to Catalog mailers who comply with the new Catalog definition and meet all other eligibility requirements for the Catalog Incentive. The Incentive and all requirements would apply to all USPS Marketing Mail products (except for EDDM-Retail) and to Bound Printed Matter flats and parcels. Detailed requirements are available in the FAQ document available on PostalPro under Catalog Incentive.
