North Carolina Post Office Mail Service Update

We anticipate continued improvement with local recovery efforts, to include power, connectivity, and roads. As we move through recovery efforts in North Carolina, there are some facilities unable to provide full retail services and mail delivery due to road closures and current conditions. Due to internet outages and connectivity issues, some retail services are cash only, PO Box only.

The following sites are closed with alternative facilities listed:

ALEXANDER, 28701 — Alternate location: Mobile Retail Unit, 2350 Old Marshall Hwy, 28701. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:15 p.m.; closed 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., and Saturday, 8 a.m. to 10a.m.
BARNARDSVILLE, 28709 — Alternate location: Mobile Retail Unit, 1664 Barnardsville Hwy, 28709. Hours are Monday through Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; closed noon to 1:30, and Saturday, 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
BAT CAVE, 28710 — Alternate location: Mobile Retail Unit in Edneyville, 3979 Chimney Rock Rd, 28727. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.; closed noon to 1 p.m. Closed Saturday.
CEDAR MOUNTAIN, 28718 — Alternate location: Mobile Retail Unit, 9515 Greenville Hwy, 28718. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.; closed noon to 2 p.m., and Saturday, 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
CHIMNEY ROCK, 28720 — Alternate location: Lake Lure, 2432 Memorial Hwy, 28746. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.; closed noon to 1 p.m., Closed Saturday.
EDNEYVILLE, 28727 — Alternate location: Mobile Retail Unit, 3979 Chimney Rock Rd, 28727. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.; closed 12 to 1 p.m., Closed Saturday.
GERTON, 28735 — Alternate location: Fairview, 1352 Charlotte Hwy, 28730. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Saturday, 10 a.m. to noon.
GREEN MOUNTAIN, 28740 — Alternate location: Burnsville, 670 W Main St, 28714. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Saturday, 9 a.m. to noon.
HOT SPRINGS, 28743 — Alternate location: Mobile Retail Unit, 111 Bridge St, 28743. Hours are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.; closed 11:30 to 1 p.m. and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
LINVILLE, 28646 — Alternate location: Mobile Retail Unit, 4235 Mitchell Ave, 28646. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. closed noon to 1 p.m. and Saturday, 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
MARSHALL, 28753 — Alternate location: Mobile Retail Unit, 100 South Main St, 28753. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; closed 11 a.m. to noon and Saturday, 9:30 a.m. to noon.
MICAVILLE, 28755 — Alternate location: Mobile Retail Unit, 551 Micaville Loop, 28755. Hours are Monday through Friday, 9:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; closed noon to 12:45 p.m., Closed Saturday.
MONTREAT, 28757 — Alternate location: Mobile Retail Unit, 301 Assembly Dr, 28757. Hours are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; closed 12:30 to 2 p.m., Closed Saturday.
NEWLAND, 28657 — Alternate location: Mobile Retail Unit, 124 Elk St, 28657. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Saturday, 8:30 a.m. to noon.
PENLAND, 28765 — Alternate location: Spruce Pine, 899 Oak Ave, 28777. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Saturday, 10 a.m. to noon.
ROSMAN, 28772 — Alternate location: Mobile Retail Unit, 272 Main St, 28772. Hours are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.; closed 12:30 to 1:30, and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
SWANNANOA, 28778 — Alternate location: Mobile Retail Unit, 2311 U.S. 70 Hwy, 28778. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Closed Saturday.
CRESTON, 28615 — Alternate location: Jefferson, 410 E Main St, 28640. Hours are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 430 p.m., and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
FLEETWOOD, 28626 — Alternate location: Todd, 4021 Todd Railroad Grade Rd, 28684, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.; closed noon to 1 p.m., and Saturday, 7:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.
LANSING, 28643 — Alternate location: Warrensville, 122 NW School Rd, 28693. Hours are Monday through Friday, noon to 4 p.m., and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
PLUMTREE, 28664 — Alternate location: Minneapolis, 2751 US Highway 19 E, 28652. Hours are Monday through Friday, 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Saturday, 8 a.m. to noon.

All remaining locations throughout the affected area are attempting delivery where safe to do so (road closures, local conditions).
