The rate hikes come just three months after a significant rate hike in July, 2022.

This is the first of two rate hikes in 2023, with the second coming later in the year.

Included in the rate filing are revamped discount structures for marketing flats and other mail.

The increases raise First-Class Mail prices approximately 4.2 percent to offset the rise in inflation.
