HURRICANE GORDON: Alabama, Florida, Mississippi Post Offices Mail Service Update

Here are the latest updates on Hurricane Gordon impacts to mail services:

Mississippi

West Post Office, located at 540 Carrollton Street, 39192, is closed until further notice due to effects from Tropical Storm Gordon. All delivery operations, retail operations, P.O. Box services and drop shipments are available at the Durant Post Office, 15243 S. Jackson Street, 39063. Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Saturday, 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Alabama

All offices affected by Hurricane Gordon have resumed normal operations.

Alabama

Operations have resumed at all Post Offices following closures related to Tropical Storm Gordon, except for the Dauphin Island Post Office at 423 La Vente St, 36528, which is closed due to a power outage.

Florida

Due to approaching Tropical Storm Gordon, retail service is currently closed at the Pensacola Naval Air Station military base located at 210 West Ave. Ste. B, Pensacola FL 32508.
