Online Postal Permit, Fee Payment Information Updated
Posted on June 28, 2018 by mailomg in Memo 277, Uncategorized // 0 Comments
The USPS has released updated information on opening an online postal permit. To mail at a discounted rate you are required to open a mailing permit. There is no fee to apply for a permit to mail with precanceled stamps or a postage meter. There is a fee to apply for a permit to mail with permit imprint. This one-time only fee pays for setting up your permit imprint account. The permit imprint application fee is due when you submit your application for a permit imprint.
Starting June 24, 2018 you will be able to pay for Application and Annual fees online using your EPS Account.
Through the Business Customer Gateway, you have 24/7 access to all your mailing accounts to monitor balances and fees for ease of mailing. With a Enterprise Payment System (EPS) account you now have the capability to pay application and annual fees, with expanded electronic payment options.
