USPS Eyes 2019 Promotions

The popular Postal Mailing Promotions in which mailers can receive extra discounts while improving their mail were suspended in 2018. The reason: there was no Board of Governors to approve the promotions.

But with pending nominations to the Board of Governors, the USPS told MTAC members it is eyeing 2019 mailing promotions.

Some of the mailing promotions under consideration include:

* Augmented Reality
* Shoppable Video (leverage mail to drive to shoppable video experience)
* Payment QR’s
* Interactive Print
* Chatbots
* SMS Text Integration
