Louisiana

All offices in Louisiana District have resumed normal operation.

Mississippi

Normal operations have resumed at postal facilities.

Alabama

Normal operations have resumed at postal facilities.

Gulf Atlantic

All plants and offices in Pensacola, FL, have resumed regular operations.

Mississippi

The Southern Area and the Mississippi District are reporting the following impacts from Hurricane Nate:

Effective 6 p.m., Saturday, October 7, 2017, the following plants will be shutting down operations until 12 p.m. on Sunday, October 8, 2017:

Gulfport, 10285 Corporate Dr., 39503-9997
Hattiesburg, 220 S 40th Ave., 39402-9997

Alabama

The Southern Area and Alabama District report the following service impacts due to Hurricane Nate:

Effective 4 p.m., Saturday, October 7, 2017, the following plants will be shutting down operations until 12 p.m. on Sunday, October 8, 2017:

Mobile, 4538 Shipyard Rd, Mobile AL 36675-9998
Mobile Annex, 251 N Royal St, Mobile AL 36602-9700

Gulf Atlantic
(Jacksonville FL, Panama City FL, Pensacola FL, Gainesville FL, Tallahassee FL, Macon GA, Augusta GA, Columbus GA, and Savannah GA areas)

The Southern Area and the Gulf Atlantic District report the following impacts to operations due to Hurricane Nate:

Effective 8 p.m. Saturday, October 7, 2017 the plant listed below will suspend all operations. All operations will be suspended until Sunday, October 8, 2017, 12 p.m.:

Louisiana

In advance of Tropical Storm Nate, retail and delivery operations, as well as drop shipments, have been suspended at the following offices, with services being offered at an alternate location:

Grand Isle, 3393 Highway 1, 70358-9998 — Alternate location: Golden Meadow, 300 S. Alex Plaisance Blvd., 70357-9998. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Saturday, 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., and closed Sunday.
Barataria, 4164 Privateer Blvd., 70036-9998 — Alternate location: Marrero, 5351 Lapalco Blvd., 70072-9998. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Saturday, 9 a.m. to noon, and closed Sunday.
Lafitte, 2630 Jean Lafitte Blvd., 70067-9998 — Alternate location: Marrero, 5351 Lapalco Blvd., 70072-9998. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Saturday, 9 a.m. to noon, and closed Sunday.
