USPS Inspector General To Speak At MAILCOM ’17

Tammy Whitcomb, the acting Inspector General for the U.S. Postal Service Office of Inspector General, will deliver the MAILCOM 17’s morning keynote on April 12.

As head of the USPS OIG, she is responsible for leading the agency’s mission of maintaining confidence in the postal system and improving the Postal Service’s bottom line through independent audits and investigations.

The USPS OIG prevents and detects fraud, waste, and misconduct; promotes economy, efficiency, and effectiveness; promotes program integrity; and keep the Postal Service Governors, Congress, and Postal Service management informed of problems, deficiencies, and corresponding corrective actions.
