Kathleen J. Siviter was selected as Executive Director of the Alliance of Nonprofit Mailers (ANM) effective October 1, 2025. Prior to that, she served as Assistant Executive Director of the National Association of Presort Mailers (NAPM) for seven years. ANM is a grassroots organization of nonprofits working to preserve affordable, reliable U.S. Mail so that our Nation’s nonprofits continue to fulfill vital missions. Nonprofits are essential to our Nation, and affordable mail is essential to nonprofits.
“I am delighted to have been appointed the next Executive Director of the Alliance of Nonprofit Mailers, filling big shoes as current Executive Director Steve Kearney moves on to a well-deserved retirement,” Siviter wrote to members. “There is a precedent of notable past leaders at the Alliance, including Tony Conway and Neal Denton. We, who have had the privilege of knowing Steve for some years, wish him all the best in his retirement. I’ve witnessed firsthand the positive things he has accomplished at the Alliance, and I plan to continue the fine work he has done while bringing some of my own flavor to the association.”
Prior to her position with NAPM, Ms. Siviter was President of Postal Consulting Services, Inc. (PCSi) which provided consulting services to industry associations, businesses, and suppliers within the mailing industry. Before she formed PCSi in 2000, Ms. Siviter served for seven years as Vice President for the Association for Postal Commerce (PostCom). She also worked for the U. S. Postal Service for eleven years, including a two-year management training program, where she received two years of in-depth and hands-on training as a manager in each functional area with increasing levels of responsibility.
Ms. Siviter received a Special Achievement Award from then Postmaster General Tony Frank for her work on a letter automation initiative. For the latter part of Ms. Siviter’s USPS career, she served in the Office of Classification and Rates (OCRA) at USPS headquarters.
Ms. Siviter over the years has been closely involved with the Mailers Technical Advisory Committee (MTAC), and in 2007 she served as the industry co-chair for the MTAC workgroup tasked with forming recommendations for modern service standards and performance measurement under the Postal Accountability and Enhancement Act (PAEA). In February 2008, Ms. Siviter was awarded the prestigious Lee Epstein Award by PostCom, in recognition of her exemplary work on behalf of the business mailing community.
Ms. Siviter has presented on a wide variety of topics at events including National Postal Forum, MAILCOM, PCCS, MTAC meetings, mailing industry association meetings, and numerous webinars and podcasts. She has also authored numerous white papers, reports and articles and continues to publish a quarterly report on USPS service performance.
