According to her presentation, “Solving the returned mail issue helps correspondence reach the correct address, reduces unnecessary mailing expenses, and increases collection efforts.”
Informed Visibility (IV) is a free USPS service which gives senders tracking information on individual pieces of mail from the time it is received by the USPS, to the time the letter gets to the desired address.
Secured Destruction (SD) is the USPS program that securely shreds and recycles letter and flat-sized pieces that are undeliverable as addressed. You must be be enrolled in ACS to utilize SD service.
