HURRICANE IDALIA: Florida Post Offices Mail Service Update

McAlpin, 17054 US Highway 129, 32062 — Operations remain temporarily suspended. All operations have been moved to O’Brien, 22654 US Highway 129, 32071. Retail hours are Monday through Friday, 9:30 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Telogia Post Office, 27134 NE County Road 67, 32360 — Operations remain temporarily suspended. All operations have been moved to Hosford Post Office, 16827 NE State Road 65, 32334. Retail hours are Monday through Friday, 7:45 a.m. to 11:45 a.m., and Saturday, 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Due to Hurricane Idalia, operations in the following facilities are temporarily suspended until further notice. For the suspended facilities, no alternate sites are available.

The facilities below have resumed all operations:

Homosassa Post Office, 10780 W Yulee Drive, 34487 — Operations remain temporarily suspended. All operations have been moved to Homosassa Springs Post Office, 4610 S. Suncoast Blvd., 34446. Retail hours are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4:15 p.m., and Saturday, 9 a.m. to noon.

Suwanee Post Office, 23252 SE Highway 349, 32692 — Operations remain temporarily suspended. All operations have been moved to a Mobile Retail Unit (MRU) at the Suwanee Post Office parking lot. MRU retail hours are Monday through Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Closed Saturday.

The facilities below have resumed all operations:

Unless otherwise noted above, other postal facilities in the district will maintain normal operations.

Aripeka, 18925 Aripeka Rd., 34679 — Operations temporarily suspended due to Hurricane Idalia. No alternate sites are available. A Mobile Retail Unit (MRU) will be available at the facility with limited retail capability. Customers may pick-up and drop off their mail Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Gulf Hammock Post Office, 5350 SE Highway 19, 32639 — Operations have resumed. Retail hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to noon. Closed Saturday.

Homosassa Springs Post Office, 4610 S. Suncoast Blvd., 34446 — Operations have resumed. Retail hours are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4:15 p.m., and Saturday, 9 a.m. to noon.

Due to Hurricane Idalia, operations in the following facilities remain temporarily suspended until further notice. For the suspended facilities, no drop shipments will be accepted. No alternate sites are available.

Unless otherwise noted above, other postal facilities in the district will maintain normal operations.

Tallahassee P&DC, 2800 S. Adams St., 32301 — Operations have resumed. Drop shipments are being accepted.

Ybor City Processing & Distribution Center [NASS: 335DC] 1801 Grant Street, 33605-6001 — All operations in the Ybor City processing facility will be temporarily shutting down today, Aug. 30, from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. due to weather/flooding. No drop shipments will be accepted. No alternate sites are available.

Tallahassee P&DC, 2800 S Adams St., 32301 — Due to Hurricane Idalia, all operations are temporarily suspended until further notice. No drop shipments will be accepted. No alternate sites are available.
